“ Hole in the wall atmosphere, but don't let the appearance fool you. The staff are very kind, and the quality of the food for the price is unbeatable. It's always quite busy, so the food is fresh and we never get an upset stomach afterwards as we do with other Chinese restaurants. Definitely our go to for Chinese food from now on. The 5 item meal is 11.50. ”
“ Golden 88 is the best take-out spot in all of Sherwood Park. It has been around for years and the people running it are amazing. They are also incredibly generous with the portions and their three item combo is just over 10. While the inside looks like it has not been renovated since the early 2000s, do not let that dissuade you from getting some incredible take-out at an affordable price. I will happily keep returning. ”

“ Golden 88 is my go-to spot for Chinese food, even though it’s a bit of a drive to Sherwood Park—it’s absolutely worth it. The portions are generous, the prices are great, and the staff is always friendly. My favorite dishes here are the sweet and sour pork and the honey garlic spare ribs—they’re packed with flavor and always cooked perfectly. On my last visit, I also ordered deep-fried shrimp, chicken balls, beef and broccoli, chicken chow mein, Shanghai noodles, dry ribs, and Singapore noodles. Everything was very tasty, with great flavors and just the right amount of crispiness where needed. The kids especially loved the chow mein and beef with broccoli! One of the best things about this place is their meal deal—you can get 5 items for just 11.50, all the way up to 12 items for around 14, making it an incredible value. It’s a hole-in-the-wall kind of spot, but don’t let that fool you—the food is fresh, delicious, and well worth the trip. If you're craving good Chinese food, this is the place to go! ”
